About CSP

The Jordan Civil Society Program (CSP) aims at cultivating a strong and vibrant civil society through a supportive enabling environment and an engaged citizenry. Funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID/Jordan), the Academy for Educational Development (AED) will work together with civil society, government, business, and media to contribute to the strengthening and sustainability of Jordan’s civil society through consultative research, training, strong public-private partnerships, small grants and improved civil society-government communications.

About CCSG

The AED Center for Civil Society and Governance (CCSG) supports citizens to mobilize effectively to influence policy, improve lives, and build peace. Building democracy requires mobilizing diverse groups of citizens. CCSG believes that the process of connecting individuals and groups to work together for change is both a significant end in itself and a means to the shared goals of peace, democracy, and development.
